We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Season 2: Risk and Reward, starting today, November 25, 2024!

This season is all about competitive gameplay, open markets, and empowering player ownership. With major updates planned, we’re making Spellborne more interactive, rewarding, and player-driven than ever before.

Season 2 is LIVE!

Season 2 marks a transformative moment for Spellborne, bringing an exciting wave of updates over the next few weeks. From achievements and attributes to professions, guilds, and open markets, this season deepens player engagement while expanding the game’s ecosystem.

Alongside these updates, we’re enhancing communication features, integrating the $BORNE token, and introducing more social tools to make Spellborne a truly player-owned experience.

What’s New in Season 2?

Season 2 introduces game-changing features designed to give players more control over their adventures while offering meaningful rewards. Here’s what to expect:

PvP Leagues (November 2024)

The PvP Leagues Era 1 begins today! Compete in Badged (ranked) or Randoms (casual) leagues in 1v1 matches. ELO from Badged Leagues plays a crucial role in Season 2 airdrop distribution.

The first Era lasts 45 days, with ELO contributions finalized at the end of each season.

Achievements (November 2024)

Achievements launch in alpha today! Inspired by nuzlocke challenges, they offer exclusive, non-tradable rewards. These achievements double as bragging rights and on-chain proof of your accomplishments.

Professions (December 2024)

Professions arrive mid-December, allowing players to enhance stats in farming, mining, fishing, and more. Unlock buffs, crafting recipes, additional farming slots, and specialized bonuses for catching rare monsters.

Max out your stats to gain better chances of capturing enchanted monsters in the wild!

Open Markets (December 2024 - January 2025)

The Open Markets bring player-driven trading for items, monsters, skins, and more. Mint your monsters and skins, and sell them to other players. $BORNE token staking unlocks exclusive items in the Glory Store, including morality resets, advanced crafting items, and rare move teaching tools.

Miscellaneous Updates (December 2024 - February 2025)

Season 2 also focuses on improving accessibility and social features:

  • A revamped chat system
  • A new guild system for collaborative gameplay
  • Social tools such as LINK
  • Language support for global players
  • Launch on Android and iOS platforms

How to Earn Rewards?

Season 2 rewards are centered on player activity, with 5% of the token supply allocated to various reward pools:

Gameplay Rewards

  • PvP Leagues: Your ELO in Badged Leagues directly contributes to your gameplay points.
  • Taskboards: Completing the taskboard on a daily basis will reward players with gameplay points, in addition to certain actions such as capturing monsters and logging into the game daily.

Once Professions launch, taskboard rewards will transition to profession EXP.

Gameplay rewards will have a considerable weightage to reward active players.

Store Rewards

Purchasing chests and season passes from the in-game store will reward players with store points. Players may also gift chests and season passes to other players, while earning points in the due process.

Verified Creators will be able to share their creator codes with their followers, earning store points worth 25% of the amount spent by their followers on chests and season passes.

Store Rewards will have a considerable weightage to reward spenders as well as verified creators.

Creator Rewards

Create-to-Earn (X/Twitter)

  • Create content related to Spellborne on X/Twitter, and tag our account (@spellbornegame) or use the hashtag #SpellborneCreate.
  • Your tweet becomes eligible to accumulate Airdrop points once the @spellbornegame account likes it.
  • The liked tweet earns 1 point per view within the first 18 hours.

Important Guidelines for Create-to-Earn:

  • Content related to gameplay, IP, and memes will be highly favored.
  • The following will not be eligible for Airdrop points:
    • Content mentioning farming/speculating on $BORNE prices.
    • Promotions for other games/projects alongside Spellborne.
    • Discriminatory or disrespectful content.
    • Use of offensive language, drugs, or nudity.
    • Spam sharing on other posts.

Stream-to-Earn (Twitch/YouTube)

Top 5 video content creators with the highest engagement, average viewers, and overall stream duration will each win a Large Apartment.

Three lucky creators will be randomly selected to win an Enchanted Monster.

Higher weight will be given to creators actively engaging with their audience (e.g., answering questions, narrating gameplay, or enabling video/audio).
