The Infinity Update: What's Changing?
The infinity update is a complete overhaul of the PvP Leagues system. It is designed to be more rewarding, more fun, and more engaging. Focusing on allowing the player to win rewards everyday instead of being stalled via a limited rewards list.
Rewards System
The reworked rewards system introduces PvP Chests, packs of rare items and monsters, of various rarities, that can be randomly won when you win a battle in PvP Leagues.
Higher leagues will allow you to win rarer chests with better rewards, depending upon the current league the player is in.
Players can have up to 5 chests at a time, with the ability to open them sequentially, and only win more chests when they have opened the previous ones leaving behind empty slots.
Rarer chests may include exclusive rewards such as enchanted monsters, anklets, and more!
No more Resets
This reworked system removes the 14 day ELO resets, and instead allows players to continue to play and win rewards, based on their ELO standings.
A global leaderboard has been put in place, allowing players to see how they stack up against the rest of the Spellborne community.
Not Casual at all
ELO can no longer be won via the Randoms League, and instead is only won via the Badged Leagues.
Randoms Leagues will still be available and will allow users to play against random opponents and get a slight taste of PvP.
Speed Ups and costs
Players can speed up the opening of chests by spending BORNE, or else wait for the chest to open naturally.
Once the chest is ready to open, the player will be required to pay a separate cost in Gold Nuggets to open it. Wooden Chests are free to open!
