As we transition towards Season 1.5, our team has been hard at work introducing new features over the past few weeks. Let’s dive into what we’ve accomplished this month.

Season 1 Recap

Here’s a summary of Spellborne's second month of public access:

16,000,000 battles played since launch
1,700,000 monsters captured (that's a lot of monsters!)
150,000 users signed up to play Spellborne

But that’s not all…

The game economy is thriving thanks to active events, with over 600,000 monsters freed into the wild by our players.

Development Update

Battle Intelligence

With the introduction of improved AI, every battle in Spellborne has become more dynamic and challenging.

Our development team introduced monster breed personalities, allowing wild monsters to behave differently based on their personality. Some monsters act shy, some are aggressive, while others are simply harder to catch.

A similar system was featured in the Crux Tower event, where NPCs had a better understanding of the battle system, and access to inventory.

Breeding

Earlier this month, we launched the first version of monster breeding, enabling players to carefully breed two monsters to create stronger offspring.

This update also introduced breeding items such as Anklets, Ability Locks, and Elder Blessings.

Stellar Pass

This month also marked the launch of the Stellar Pass, with the first season focusing on the Golden Ages of Greece.

The Stellar Pass revamps the daily missions system, offering a greater variety of rewards, including new cosmetic items like loading screens, profile borders, and more.

Settlers Glory

All functionalities and utilities of apartment tokens are now consolidated into a single subscription called Settlers Glory.

This subscription provides benefits such as extra inventory slots, faster breeding times, the ability to create tournaments, private servers, and more for apartment token holders.

Misc Features

We also launched our first always-on purchasable bundle, “One Step Ahead.” This bundle includes just the right amount of items to give you a competitive edge in the game.

Community Update

Soul Exchange Event

We kicked off the first-ever Soul Exchange event, introducing five new monsters to the game. These monsters are inspired by popular IPs like Mooncatrescue, CyberKongz, Kaiju Kingz, Pixelmon, and Project Godjira.

The event will be live for approximately 3 to 4 weeks. Players can free their captured monsters to collect souls, which can be used to purchase monsters from the Soul Exchange.
